Philips LumiMotion is a brand new concept of lighting, which fulfils the need for energy-efficiency and reducing light pollution while maintaining the safety on the street. 
By means of sensors and wireless communication, each street light detects if a pedestrian or cyclist approaches and the lighting in front as well as behind the person is ramped up to 100% ensuring his/her safety. The lighting is automatically dimmed down when no one passes the street. 
Berkel-Enschot nearby Tilburg (NL) is the first town in Europe where this energy saving lighting can be experienced. 
Prodrive developed the electronics for LumiMotion. Combining competitive and sustainable solutions by means of our expertise in technology and building blocks, results in this innovative energy saving product, in order to make the world a little ‘greener’ while keeping it safe at the same time.
